Heather
Born and raised primarily in South Carolina, I’ve enjoyed the opportunities that my current life has allowed on many levels. I’m happily married, the mother of three beautiful children ( 2 girls and a boy!) and pursue daily maintaining my creative juices for my children by being actively engaged in their lives.
Elizabethtown, Kentucky is where I call home now.
I always seem to have my hands in a million things, I hope effectively, and I truly enjoy written expression through blogs. By profession, my college education, is a BS in Special Education, with an emphasis in the severe disabilities. Although I used my training in the classroom, for two years before life’s journey led me down quite a different path, I’ve found my degree to be quite helpful dealing with the public in general. My love for working with the public {and hoping to actually be that person that does and can make a difference} influenced my previous careers as well in the fields of web design, a medical administrative assistant to a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, and of course being a mother.
In addition to this blog, I have designed and maintained a personal website for nearly 10 years -
Motherhood is an institution which I have always wanted to be a part, and in my eyes, being able to stay home with my children always had been my personal dream. So, in essence, I’m living out my dream. There is no greater calling which I feel any more strongly about than this. And so, I hope to share some of my journey, with you.

This is a beautiful picture of you Heather!
